What degree granting departments are available to me if I want to participate in the Institute for Mind and Biology?

The IMB currently represents 16 Doctoral and Masters degree granting Departments and Committees within the Biological Sciences Division, the Social Sciences Division and the School of Social Service Administration, and many undergraduate departments as well. Please visit our Affiliated Departments section for a full listing.

To help in choosing, please visit the websites of the programs and the personal webpages of the Institute faculty to determine which program fits your particular research interests the best. If in doubt, email the faculty member you are interested in working with and also the admissions administrator in the department or committee you are interested in.

If I want to obtain summer employment, what should I do?

First visit the University of Chicago's employment page to see if there are any opportunities listed. CROP is also a good website to check. If there are no listings for the IMB member you would like to work with, contact the member or their lab manager directly via email. A list of members' contact information is located here.

What opportunities are available to me at the IMB?

IMB members participate in many training grants that may be available to their students. A listing is available here.
